Campers will get excided about this second week of camp diving for the Deep Sea-Journey & Beyond. Students will go on a deep-sea exploration discovering sea creatures and landscapes on the ocean floor. This Half Day Camp provides children with creativity and different art mediums. Our Campers will participate in 3 quality art classes: clay, drawing and fiber arts. The Campers will have short breaks between classes. We will have a mini art show on Friday to showcase the art created that week at camp.
Classes are organized by age: Mini Monet (ages 6-7) , Petite Picasso (ages 8-9) , Rising Rembrandt (ages 10+). Ages 6 - 14 welcome. Lunch will NOT be provided May bring snacks if needed Don't forget your mask! Half Day Camp Tuition will be $120.00 Classes:
Deep Sea-Journey & Beyond in Weaving & Fiber Arts June 22-25, 2021 Week 1- Tuesday-Friday, 4 days 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Instructor: Robyn Czyscon Ages: 6-14 Using fabric sheets and acrylic paints, campers will construct fun and creative fish windsocks that can be placed outside to swim in the wind. The students will design their own fish scales using acrylic paints along with using items to embellish the fish. If time allows, campers will create yarn jellyfish and yarn octopus to name a few. Deep Sea-Journey & Beyond in Drawing June 22-25, 2021 Week 1- Tuesday-Friday, 4 days 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Instructor: Kim Hamby Class Fee: $120.00 Tuition Fee Ages: 6-14 Campers will go to on a deep-sea exploration discovering how to draw fish, octopus, sharks, whales and seahorses using a variety of colored pencil techniques. Creativity comes into play while drawing the ocean floor, coral and treasures. Students are encouraged to draw what they think they would discover if they were exploring the deep sea. Deep Sea-Journey & Beyond with Clay June 22-25, 2021 Week 1- Tuesday-Friday, 4 days 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Instructor: Luce Van Asten Class Fee: $120.00 Tuition Fee Ages: 6-14 Campers will dive deep into the ocean to create sea creatures and landscapes on the ocean floor. The journey will inspire the campers to sculpt fish, sea horses, algae, octopus and other sea creatures. The sea animals will be placed on a ocean floor base to create a realistic picture of a deep sea journey. Daily schedule will include: 9:00am - 10:10am - Class 1 10:10am - 10:20am - Break 10:20am - 11:30am - Class 2 11:30am - 11:40pm - Break 11:40pm - 12:50pm - Class 3 12:50pm- 1:00pm- Wrap-up/ Pickup |
