January 10, 2021-1 Session (Sunday) Class is Closed Inclement weather, January 31, 2021-(Sunday) 2:00 pm-4:30 pm Instructor: Ledra Woodlee Class Fee: $50.00 non-members $45.00 BRMAA members Take home new ideas and different ways to compose your photography. No matter what the student uses, a DSLR, mirrorless or phone camera, this class teaches good composition which is the fastest way to better pictures. Some techniques the student will learn are rules of thirds, use of color, texture, pattern and repetition, and how to build a photo to make it yours. No camera is necessary to bring to class. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ledra Woodlee
Ledra Woodlee is a local photographer with 20 years of experience shooting and over 10 years of experience in photography instruction. She is the force behind her company, Natural Connections Photo Workshops, which exists to provide local and travel workshops for nature and landscape photography. In this photographic venture, Ledra loves what she does - leading photography workshops around the country for people who like to travel, learn photography and have lots of fun while doing it! Through classroom lecture, image critique and hands-on instruction in the field, students are offered the opportunity to address their specific needs and to develop their own photographic talents and interests. When Ledra isn’t on a workshop she can be found teaching classes at the Atlanta School of Photography, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Center and lecturing and presenting to numerous photo clubs around the Southeast. In 2017, Natural Connections Photo Workshops became the inaugural member in a new Olympus program, Olympus Workshop Partners. Although Ledra uses Olympus equipment, she instructs and teaches anyone with any brand of equipment. With a background in retail photography sales and service, Ledra possesses a broad knowledge of photography gear as well as photographic technique. Everything she has learned in the retail environment only serves to deepen her knowledge and ability to help her students in the classroom and in the field as well. |
