Oil Impressionism As an impressionist painter from Rome, Georgia, I am determined to share the beauty of creation through my oil paintings. I am a member of Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, and the Booth Artist Guild. Lately, plein air painting has been my favorite way to connect with the subject and my community. During my long runs, I like to keep a mint tin in my backpack and pause for a quick study of the landscape. On race day I may be at the start line with you, or you may find me painting at the top of the steepest climb. I believe we should be stopped in our tracks in wonder of creation more often. I share my artwork so that others can see the beauty of their Creator in their surroundings, in others, and in themselves. |
