Turn a Georgia Peach seed into a work of art! Barbara has come up with a great class weaving a peach seed into a pendant with a leather cord. Students will learn a technique of forming wire bails for a leather cord. The peach seed will look like an owl using wire to create the eyes. The student will also learn a sailor’s knot for the leather cord holding the owl pendent. What a fun class to create unique jewelry!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Barbara has always been interested in "how" jewelry was created. She began six years ago with professional jewelry design classes to develop her current minimalist to contemporary styles. Classes in silver smithing, soldering, wire wrapping, forging,
faceting, and cold connections provides her background experience. Having practiced as a pediatric registered nurse, she acquired skills
for working with the small and delicate.
Barbara currently consigns in galleries in Roswell, Blue Ridge and Marietta.
"This is my third class with Barbara. I always leave with much more knowledge about the jewelry item we have made than I expected. An excellent teacher, and shares her knowledge freely."
- Phyllis, Student
"Very calm jewelry teacher! Barbara shares so much information about how to work with metals and shape it into such elegant forms. Much is shared about use of color, texture, combinations of metals, and patinas."
