This class is one of the most popular jewelry classes because you create two pairs of quality sterling silver earrings. Student will learn to forge with jeweler’s hammers and learn finishing of edges of sterling silver. The techniques include shaping a Reposse’ (raised pattern in sterling), wire wrapping fresh water pearls for a tear drop earring and forming sterling silver french ear wires. Different choices of gemstones will be available to create your own style in jewelry. Come have some fun and create!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Barbara has always been interested in "how" jewelry was created. She began six years ago with professional jewelry design classes to develop her current minimalist to contemporary styles. Classes in silver smithing, soldering, wire wrapping, forging,
faceting, and cold connections provides her background experience. Having practiced as a pediatric registered nurse, she acquired skills
for working with the small and delicate.
Barbara currently consigns in galleries in Roswell, Blue Ridge and Marietta.
