The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association’s membership is over forty percent artists.  These artists showcase their work at the Art Center in the Mark Mahan Gallery and the Lobby Gallery. 

In Addition, the Art Center features an artist in residence program in the artist in residence gallery. The main exhibit gallery, the Richard Low Evans' Gallery (Courthouse Gallery), features the art of visiting artists, as well as featured member exhibits.
